SUMMARY:A Christmas Abroad (Johannesburg)

Our international musical programme\, including works by Gabrieli\, Tchaikovsky and Poulenc\, will set each magical scene as we reflect on the wonders of all the distinctive ways Christmas is expressed in different cultures - from the candlelit coziness of Heiligabend to the sweetness of panettone and roscón de reyes\, to the elaborate light displays in American suburbs and miniature clay nativity scenes of Provence.
