His album Neo Native won the 2019 South African Music Award for Best Jazz Album, while Radio Sechaba, released through Brownswood Recordings in 2023, explored themes of identity, unity and belonging. With Traditions, Bokani brings his own perspective to familiar musical material, reimagining compositions through the intimate sound of the piano trio.Experience this special album launch in the intimate setting of Sankayi, where the music takes centre stage.Event DetailsDate: Friday, 13 November 2026Doors open: 18:00Music starts: 20:00Tickets: R400Venue: Sankayi Jazz Room, Morningside, JohannesburgGuests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy dinner and drinks before the music begins.
