SUMMARY:There and Back Again - Year End Concert
DESCRIPTION:We've all been on journeys - across oceans\, through seasons\, along the unexpected turns that shape a life. And music has always been one of our oldest and most trusty companions on these roads. There and Back Again takes you on just such a journey - across centuries\, continents\, and cultures - and brings you gently home again in just over an hour. From the playful songs of Renaissance England to a traditional isiXhosa prayer\, from a Finnish folk melody to beloved Afrikaans hymns\, there is something here for everyone. Join us for a relaxing afternoon of a cappella music that asks nothing of you - no passport\, no luggage\, no long road ahead. Just an open ear\, and the willingness to be transported!Tickets can be bought online or at the door. Refreshments will be available at the event for a donation. Contact us at stellenboschmadrigalsingers@gmail.com or 0845072509 for more information.
