SOWETO - We walk again!On the 27th of September, we return to the streets of Soweto for the second chapter of The Soweto Community Photowalk — ARCHIVE 002.This time, we begin by looking back. We’ll gather at Eyethu Heritage Hall at 2PM for a documentary screening of Sam Nzima: A Journey Through His Lens, directed by Nhlanhla Mthethwa — spending time with the work, history and legacy of a photographer whose images became part of South Africa’s visual memory.From there, we step outside with our own cameras and perspectives.THEME: EXPLORING SOUTH AFRICAN HERITAGE THROUGH OUR LENS.We’ll walk through Soweto together — observing, documenting, exchanging knowledge and making photographs.
