An opportunity to support our students' next chapter.Date: Wednesday 5 August 2026Time: 18:00Venue: Redhill TheatreTickets: R200 per personFollowing an extraordinary Festival of Excellence in Dramatic Arts (FEDA), where our students received multiple nominations and awards, Redhill has been invited to perform at the Toyota Stellenbosch Woordfees 2026 - one of Africa's most prestigious arts festivals! To help make this incredible opportunity possible for every student selected to attend and perform, redDrama is hosting a special fundraising performance featuring both of our acclaimed FEDA productions! This is a rare opportunity for the Redhill community to experience these remarkable performances while helping our young performers take their work to a national stage. The Desert StationIn a place where memory refuses to disappear, a generation searches for what healing might look like after remembrance.Through movement, music, storytelling and striking theatrical imagery, The Desert Station explores memory, identity and the enduring impact of history with remarkable maturity, sensitivity and artistic depth.Thought-provoking, evocative and deeply moving, this powerful production asks difficult questions while offering moments of hope, resilience and reflection.Excuse me, I think something bad is about to happen, but…A storyteller is determined to tell his tale from beginning to end.The only problem? The story has other ideas. As awkward encounters become stranger, unexpected interruptions multiply and the growing sense that something terrible is about to happen becomes impossible to ignore, the performance slowly unravels before the audience's eyes.Equal parts hilarious, inventive and wonderfully unpredictable, this delightfully offbeat production showcases the creativity, comic timing and courage of our young performers at their very best.Every ticket makes a difference!By attending this special performance, you'll not only enjoy an exceptional evening of theatre, but you'll also help support our students as they prepare to represent Redhill on one of South Africa's most celebrated artistic stages.Seats are limited. We encourage early booking to avoid disappointment.
